Westmoreland Parish Council's Strategic Plan 2012 / 2013
This is the Westmoreland Parish Council's first Strategic Plan. A plan the staff and Council have worked assiduously to bring to fruition, cognizant of the need to have a strategic road map to enhance our management of the Council.
The Westmoreland Parish Council is seeking to be responsive and deliver the quality service demanded by our citizens; therefore, we are positioning our staff and Council to manage through strategic thinking and planning. It is a process that will ensure that our goals and objectives are clearly defined and as such, that we are able to effectively track our progress.
As we continue on the path of forward planning and implementation we believe that Improve Financial Management and Service Delivery to include enforcement and compliance together with Public Education are the main areas of strategic focus for the Westmoreland Parish Council.
I therefore submit this Strategic Plan on behalf of this Council as evidence of appreciation of and commitment to achieving, our mandate of being an efficient and effective government of the parish of Westmoreland.
